Northlake Mall turned out a strong Black Friday, a mall spokeswoman said last week.
Stores that opened early, such as Kohl's and Macy's, which opened at midnight, did especially well, spokeswoman Shelley Korenbrot told Neighbor Newspapers.
From the story:
“Our stores that opened midnight had a great run,” said mall spokeswoman Shelley Korenbrot. “Kohl’s had a long line that wrapped around the building to go in and everyone was going after their door-buster items. Macy’s also opened at midnight and they did really well on their door-buster items too.”
Sears opened even earlier at 8 p.m. Thursday.
“They had a ton of people waiting for the electronic specials,” Korenbrot said. “They sold out of those."
