If you've got a ferret or an iguana or a hamster or a dog (or whatever) and you'd like it to be blessed beneath the eyes of God this month, then Mason Mill Park is the place to be June 23.
Congregation Bet Haverim is hosting a pet blessing at the North Druid Hills park from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., according to GA Voice.
From the story:
In addition to more typical house pets, [Rabbi Joshua] Lesser said any and all animals are welcome to the event.
“People can bring their goats, their ferrets, whatever as long as they're appropriately leashed or in their appropriate containers. If you wanted to bring a snake, then bring your snake!”
