Evansdale Elementary School is hosting a town hall meeting with state Rep. Scott Holcomb at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 18.
"We’ll have an update on the DeKalb Board of Education situation, bills making their way through the General Assembly, and anything else you want to discuss," he said in a release.
Last week, Holcomb gave a speech on the floor of the Georgia House on gun legislation. "The topic was a bill that would expand the right to carry guns into churches, airports, public schools, and college campuses, and that would make it harder to deny gun licenses to certain people with mental illnesses," he said, adding, "I look forward to hearing from you on this subject."
