A man arrested in St. Paul, Minn., in the killing of Minnesota woman may also be connected in three other attacks last year involving Chamblee prostitutes.
TwinCities.com is reporting that Alberto Prece Palmer, 23, was arrested on Wednesday in the killing of 18-year-old Brittany Clardy, who police say was working as a prostitute. Her body was found in a car at a local impound lot.
Chamblee police suspect Palmer attacked three Chamblee escorts last year, including one in which the victim was put into a closet, raped and beaten. She was then tied up, gagged, wrapped in two blankets and put in a large plastic storage container in her car.
She reportedly escaped hours later, according to Chamblee police.
The San Francisco Chronicle is reporting that Chamblee police also suspect Palmer in two other attacks. All three incidents occurred when a man hired the woman for sex off of a website, and the women went to his apartment where they had consensual sex, police said.
But after the man paid the women, he began assaulting them before they escaped.
