Local author Jonathan Grant is giving two talks at DeKalb libraries this month.
The first one is at Embry Hills on Monday, Feb. 11 and the second at Tucker-Reid Cofer on Tuesday, Feb. 19, both at 6:30 p.m.
Grant is the co-author and editor of The Way It Was in the South: The Black Experience in Georgia and Brambleman, a novel based on Forsyth County, Georgia’s violent racial history.
His first novel was Chain Gang Elementary, a tale of war between a PTA president and a grade school principal. Grant headed the PTA at Evansdale Elementary School.
