DeKalb County Sanitation has issued its list of pickup changes for 2013's holidays:
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, Jan. 21, 2013: No collection on Monday 1/21. All collections will run one day date. Regular collection will resume on Thursday 1/24. Blue box and yard waste recycling will continue to run one day late through Friday 1/25.
President's Day, Monday, Feb. 18, 2013: No collection on Monday 2/18. All collections will run one day date. Regular collection will resume on Thursday 2/21. Blue box and yard waste recycling will continue to run one day late through Friday 2/25.
Memorial Day, Monday, May 27, 2013: No collection on Monday 5/27. All collections will run one day date. Regular collection will resume on Thursday 5/30. Blue box and yard waste recycling will continue to run one day late through Friday 5/31.
Independence Day, Thursday, July 4, 2013: No collection on Thursday 7/4. Regular collection will run one day through Saturday 7/6. Blue box and yard waste recycling will be serviced on Friday 7/5.
Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 2, 2013: No collection on Monday 9/2. All collections will run one day date. Regular collection will resume on Thursday 8/5. Blue box and yard waste recycling will continue to run one day late through Friday 9/6.
Veteran's Day, Monday, Nov. 11, 2013: No collection on Monday 11/11. All collections will run one day date. Regular collection will resume on Thursday 11/14. Blue box and yard waste recycling will continue to run one day late through Friday 11/15.
Thanksgiving holidays, Thursday, Nov. 28-Friday, Nov. 29, 2013: No collection on Thursday 11/28. Regular collection will run one day late through Saturday 11/30. Blue box and yard waste recycling will be serviced on Friday 11/29.
Christmas Day, Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013: No collection on Wednesday 12/25. Regular collection will resume on Thursday 12/26. Blue box and yard waste recycling will run one day late through Friday 12/27.
New Years Day, Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014. No collection on Wednesday 1/1/14. Regular collection will resume on Thursday 1/2/14. Blue box and yard waste recycling will run one day late through Friday 1/3/14.
