Henderson Middle School announced several personnel changes Monday.

Due to the retirement of two staff members in November, HMS recently added new members to our faculty. Please welcome Ms. Meia Love, 8A Language Arts teacher and Mr. Darron Shell, 7A Math teacher. In addition, congratulations to Ms. Trellis Davis, former 7A Math teacher, who was promoted to the 7th grade Assistant Principal's position.
On a sad note, we will be losing Angela Mickle, 8th grade counselor, as a result of a Reduction In Force (RIF) by the District. Ms. Mickle will begin in January, 2013 as the counselor for Hightower Elementary School. Ms. Leslie McMillan, Head Counselor, will resume the role as 8th grade counselor.
