Georgia’s Jobless Rate Declines to 7.1 Percent in February

GDOL announced Thursday that Georgia’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate decreased to 7.1 percent in February, down two-tenths of a percentage point from 7.3 percent in January. Credit: Patch file
The rate was 8.5 percent in February a year ago. The state's unemployment rate still trails the national rate, which is 6.7 percent.
