We told you earlier this week about a prominent developer's plans to replace Scott Boulevard Baptist Church with a 40,000-square foot retail center.
Atlanta-based Fuqua Development, started earlier this year by former Sembler president Jeff Fuqua, wants to redevelop the church into Decatur Crossing, which will include a bank, restaurants and retail shops, according to a company flier about the project.
What we want to know is whether you think that's a good idea. This nexus point of streets has become a hotspot for development recently. Decatur Crossing, once completed, would sit directly across North Decatur Road from a newly renovated Suburban Plaza, including its incoming Walmart Supercenter.
