Works crews were repairing a gas main break near the intersection of North Druid Hills and Briarcliff roads early Thursday morning.
The break was caused when construction equipment struck the line Wednesday night, according to 11 Alive.
Briarcliff Road was shut down at about 5:30 a.m. at North Druid Hills Road, according to the SKYFOX Traffic Twitter feed. WSBradio.com recommended shortly before 7:30 a.m. to use Clairmont Road as an alternate.
A seperate gas leak shut down DeKalb Industrial Way near Scott Boulevard during rush hour Wednesday.
