- Illegal Immigrant Hopes to Stay at Lakeside High Under New Obama Policy: This, by far, didn't get the most hits, but I think it's the most interesting story that came out in this Patch this week, and I hope to write more about it in the near future. A surprising local angle on a complex national issue.
- New North Decatur Schnitzel Restaurant Featured on CBS: People really read the heck out of this story for some reason. Either people really like schnitzel or they get really interested when something in close proximity to them ends up on TV. I'm going to guess it's the TV thing.
- Taquería El Vecino Hopes to Reopen Sept. 10: We haven't written a whole lot about this, but people seem to care what happens to Taquería El Vecino and Carolyn's Cupcakes, so we'll keep covering it.
- Lakeside High Student Skips Grade, Heads to College: A nice story in The Champion Newspaper. Check it out.
